PTFE cloth YS9004AJ is the thinnest fabric in premium series, the coating process is difficult because the basic fiberglass is almost transparent and light weight like feather, and the final 0.04mm PTFE fabric is also almost transparent as you can see the other side through Teflon fabric.

In some applications which have high request for Teflon fabric, the thinner PTFE fabric can reach, the effect will be better. But it is difficult to manufacture thin PTFE fabric since the basic fabric is easy to be damaged during coating.

What’s more, PTFE content also affect the mechanical strength of PTFE fabric, it is because the strength of fiberglass will be reduced when coating PTFE in high temperature, so more times coating, then the strength will be weeker.
