Tear Resistant Teflon coated Tape, is using high tensile PTFE coated fiberglass fabric as basic material, and one side chemical treated, in order for bonding Silicone PSA on the back.

Teflon adhesive fabric is an assistant consumables in the production like Lamination, Heat-Press, Vulcanization, Drying, Heat-sealing, Printing & Dyeing, Isolation and so on, because Teflon adhesive tape has non stick surface and high dielectric strength, is chemical resistant and heat resistant.

In this case, the property of Teflon coated Tape will effect the quality of final product directly. Increasing the durable property of High heat Teflon tape will reduce the production cost also.

Tear Resistant PTFE adhesive backed tape has much higher mechanical strength, so it will not be tore after release and can be reused for many times.

This property is very important in application using high pressure like Lamination, vacuum bagging system, Heat press and so on.

Process of Tear Resistant Teflon coated Tape

The basic material is customized, which is using stronger yarn to offer higher mechanical strength in the beginning of production. And special formulated PTFE (Teflon) will be coated on the fiberglass. After that, PTFE fabric will be one side chemical treated, in order for bonding silicone PSA or acrylic adhesive.
