Pump Insulation Covers, made of PTFE or Silicone impregnated on both sides or one side fiberglass fabrics. Due to this insulated fabric is anti-aging, anti-environment, anti-corrosion, non stick and heat resistant. So it is used for the outer protection for the insulation covers. And the working temperature of PTFE coated fabric is up to 600F, the maximum temperature of silicone impregnated fabric is 500F.

And Youngsun’s Silicone impregnated(coated) fabric, is the best Anti-aging, Antiseptic, Heat-resistant, weather resistant and soft insulator, which is used to make the outside jacket for the pump insulation system.

Youngsun’s YS9038HD is PTFE impregnate(coated) fabric, which has higher heat-resistant property than Silicone coated fabric, so it is used for insulation system which need higher temperature and harder surface.

All the basic fiberglass is satin weaved, which ensure the highest tensile strength of the covers(blankets), and Silicone & PTFE coating is flexible in order for making blankets into any different shapes and sizes.

For One side PTFE impregnated fabric(YS9038HD), the weight would be 16.5 oz/sy ± 10%(560 g/m2), and thickness is 0.016″  ± 10% (0.38mm)

For Both side PTFE impregnated fabric(YS9040HD), the weight would be 18 oz/sy ± 10%(650 g/m2), and thickness is 0.018″ ± .001″ (0.40mm)

Removable Insulation Jackets are designed for Pumps, pipeline, valves, freeze protection and so on.

Silicone coated fabrics are fiberglass fabric impregnated with specially formulated silicone rubber. This silicone fabric can continuous working below 500F, and the flame retardant silicone rubber offer longer lifetime and increase the abrasion resistance, tear resistance and flexibility.

Unlike PTFE impregnated fabric, silicone fabric is more flexible and cost effective, it has more choice for the coated color also.
