Adhesive Backed Teflon Tape, excellent release tape with heat resistant adhesive

Adhesive Backed Teflon Tape, made of woven fiberglass fabric coated with PTFE(Teflon) on both sides, and coated with Silicone pressure sensitive adhesive or Acrylic adhesive on the back. Which provides an excellent release surface and heat resistant adhesive, especially for applications which requiring high temperature, good electrical strength, mechanical strength and cost effectiveness.

Property of Adhesive Backed Teflon Tape

PTFE adhesive tape containing non stick PTFE coated surface and heat resistant adhesive, like silicone PSA or acrylic adhesive, which resulting in easy release, superior mechanical strength, long lifetime and dimensional stability.

Self adhesive PTFE fabric with silicone PSA is the best solution for high request applications, which has requirement for continuous and efficient processing, excellent bonding strength and long lasting performance at high temperatures (up to 500˚F / 260˚C).

Self Adhesive Teflon Tape with Acrylic Adhesive has better initial adhesion (tack), can heat resistant up to 170˚C, and is cost effective than PTFE fabric with silicone PSA.

Adhesive Backed Teflon Tape is impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE). For use in a wide variety of applications including sealers, packaging machines, heat platens and hot plates.

The properties of PTFE coated tape with silicone PSA is as follows.

Spec of Self adhesive PTFE tape

Self adhesive PTFE fabric can be supplied as log rolls or slit tapes.

Standard roll length is 30 meters or 50 meters, and standard width is 1000 mm, 1250mm upon special request.

Yellow PVC release liner is used to protect the adhesive back, and ease the using ways. Adhesive Backed Teflon Tape can also be offered without release liner.

Applications of self adhesive PTFE coated fabric, including easy release tape on heat sealing and packaging machines, ironing and pressing equipment, covering drying cylinders, lining chutes, release surface on bonding tools.

Teflon Adhesive Tape YS7013BJ

Teflon Adhesive Tape YS7013BJ is coated with specially formulated black PTFE, these fabrics eliminate static electricity during operation.

Static can be created by friction or other connection, it will collect electric and dust which may destroy electrical component parts, and it will affect the release due to the electrostatic adsorption.
