Antistatic polyimide film adhesive tape, also known as ESD Kapton Tape, ESD PI Tape, or ESD Polyimide Tape, is manufactured from a polyimide film treated for antistatic properties on both sides. This treatment utilizes proton bombardment technology in a plasma environment, achieving a static index of up to 10^5 without adding any additives or coatings, preserving the film’s original properties. The adhesive used has double the bonding strength compared to regular products.

The tape features a single-sided high-performance silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. The surface resistance on the back is less than 10^7 ohms, while the coated surface is below 10^9 ohms. The stripping electrostatic voltage is under 50V, ensuring that electronic components remain safe from static discharge during application.
